Manufacturing

All frame components for our SCHNELL training equipment are manufactured at our factory in Peutenhausen. Either by hand by our employees in raw production or by our welding robots. We only use steel from Germany and Switzerland to ensure perfect material quality and durability.

Powder Coating

After manufacturing, powder coating follows — but first, all components are sent through the sandblasting machine. This prepares the surface so perfectly that the powder coating will still hold in 10, 15, or 20 years. At first glance, you can’t tell the difference between components that have been sandblasted and those that haven’t, but by removing the so-called scale layer, we prevent the powder coating from being easily damaged later on.

Why powder coat? Because it is the highest quality and most durable type of metal coating! Electrostatic charged pigment powder is applied to the pre-treated steel component with a spray gun. The parts are then “baked” in an oven at 200 degrees for 2-3 hours. After cooling, the components can be processed immediately.

P.S.: Even every single disc of our manual plug weight devices is sandblasted in-house and powder coated by hand.

Upholstery

Our in-house upholstery department upholsters all of our equipment. Each customer can choose from 10 available upholstery colors – and custom colors are also possible. We source the synthetic leather we use directly from the manufacturer in Portugal. For our SCHNELL training equipment, we use the best synthetic leather available on the market with the tightest weave and greatest material thickness available for medical products. This ensures maximum durability and resistance.
